My self-realization runs on someone's unchosen exhaustion.

In light of the previous works I concluded the following:

The Ritalin tablet is probably made in a Chinese chemical plant, by someone on a minimum wage. The logistics company employs drivers at some point of transit for minimum wage. The van delivers it to my insurance provider hospitals warehouse at some point of transit. The delivery company employed by my insurance provider hospital employs a delivery driver who delivers it to the specific clinic I go to, the driver is indeed employed at a minimal wage. The pharmacist gives me the tablet — she's lucky, she has an average salary. I get my pills and enter the flow state, I throw out the packaging and it is picked up by the same Chinese cleaner, who does indeed have a minimum wage.

I would like to thank all the participants of my flow state.

Not individually — that would take too long. Not fairly — that would cost too much.

So I compress them into a sentence, the same way the system compresses them into the following roles:

Worker. Driver₁, Driver₂, … Driverₙ. Pharmacist. Cleaner.

My productivity depends on their anonymity. If I knew their names, I might hesitate. If I hesitated, I might stop.

So I don’t know them. And that is part of the design.

Awareness would introduce friction. Friction would reduce output.

So the system does not require ignorance — only that I continue and I love the design.
